Chicken & Lentils
How to cook up an absolute storm in the Kitchen!
This video, we are cooking a Chicken & Lentils dish which looks absolutely stunning and will get your taste buds running!
This recipe we were extremely lucky to have a chef from the US of A and good friend of mine Ben (and his wife Maggie) to help We Hungry cook this one.
Essentially what your going to need to cook this fantastic feed is the following:
4 Boneless Chicken Thighs
4 Pieces of Bacon
1 Cup of lentils
1 Punnet of Cherry Tomatoes
1 Bunch of Thyme
3 Cups of Chicken Stock
1 Small Brown Onion
Now that you have the ingredients, what you have to do is the following
1. Chop Onion, Tomato, Bacon, Thyme (pick it) & Chicken
2. Fry off bacon and onion
3. Cook that chicken
4. Pour stock onto it (about 100 ml)
5. Throw in the tomato,onion, bacon
6. Add the Thyme
7. Then cook it in the oven for 30 minutes at roughly 180c
8. Take that bad boy out and Scream ‘WHEEEEEE HUNGRY’
This one is a real easy one to make and even easier to consume.
Even the day after refrigeration I still managed to eat it and probably tasted just as good, but obviously cold!
The best part about this was the flavour that the broth gives the rest of the ingredients I feel!
The chicken was amazingly tender and the lentils give a fitting touch to the whole meal.
